Failures, Mistakes or You??
One afternoon, I was sitting on the couch trying to think of something to write, but I failed to find one. As a regular Indian, my brain recollected what my mom used to say "If you fail, you have no future". As a confused human, I just wanted to know whether my mistakes and failures are connected or Independent or am I the cause for the confusion.
"Failures are stepping stones to success" is something many believe in, but 'Is it true?' is a question that haunts me regularly. The first time I failed is something I don't know, but I know that it is a progression and has become a routine now. The day I tried to walk was maybe one of my first failures, but I know that humongous challenge is a small routine now. No man can be perfect, which means even the best! Commit mistakes, and don't mix them with failures.
I believe everyone fails in life but never fails again in something they are good at. This statement is simple and true cause when a human being understands what he is good at, he does know what he is not at. The trick is we never know what we are good at until we give many things a try, and if not, then it's a mistake. It can be a job, laundry, or even asking a girl out.
In this journey called life, I have found that we are fastidious about the way our superstars live but not how different we are from them: it is our basic mistake. Embracing ourselves is important. If not, the road is clear for damages: we will never fight for ourselves until we know what our weapon is. We all indeed make errors but walking past them with a smile is something we learn from the failures. Even the best fail and mistakes are common, but as long as we cling to them, we will never find the beauty in ourselves.
